Their first single for Fantastic Plastic was 'Why Did You Let My Kitten Die?', released in 1999. The track went on to win Alternative Single of the year, as voted for by Radio One listeners. The follow up single 'Bring Back Her Head' was released soon after.

In August 2000, to coincide with Angelica's appearances at the Reading and Leeds festivals, a new single 'Take Me I'm Your Disease' was released and went straight to Number One in the Indie Charts. The full-length The Seven Year Itch followed in 2002.
