Bleeding Through is a straight edge American metal band from Orange County, California, formed in 1999. The band blends influences stemming from modern hardcore, symphonic (black) metal, and death metal. The band has often been claimed by the scenes of many sub-genres of music, including the modern american DIY hardcore scene, screamo scene, and various metal scenes. However, it can be hard to place a finger on the band's sound, which varies from album to album, and even song to song. This difficulty is further perpetuated by the difficulty of finding collectively agreed-upon names for musical subcultures and genres.
