Bio
The Bonemachine collective grew out of Pompey’s underground dance/electronic scene. The band, in constant flux, spent years pumping out a heavy diet of industrial beats until things stalled a couple of years ago. But rather than chuck in the Egyptian cotton entirely, Bonemachine chose to retreat briefly, re-organise their affairs and emerge with a new and vastly superior sound.
In the interests of perfecting the translation of their meticulously constructed bendy basslines and plaintive vox from studio to stage, Bonemachine have taken on all manner of weird support slots of late: everyone from 65daysofstatic, Lo-Fidelity Allstars and Cranes to, er, The Mission and even Sigue Sigue Sputnik have been propped up by the live Bonemachine experience. Indie-tronica if ever there lived such a genre.
