The band formed in 1998 when Joergen and Espen met through their girlfriends. 2 years passed before anybody picked up an instrument, and another couple of months passed before it was decided we needed a singer and a drummer. Lifelong friend Staale joined, and drummers slowly came and went. After a while the band moved to London. More drummers came and went, guitar players left, and in a moment of dire need, Matthew was spotted standing in the corner smoking a cigarette during a gig at the 100 club in Oxford Street. He ended up joining the band in the summer of 2002. Glenn joined shortly after, and the band as we know it finally played together for the first time at a gig supporting the Libertines December 18th, 2002.
