Deep Cut formed in East London in 2006.

The band members are: singer Emma Bailey, guitarist Mat Flint, bass player Simon Flint, drummer Ian Button and guitarist Pad Bailey. Mat also plays bass guitar for Death In Vegas, and was formerly singer/guitarist for the early 90's band Revolver. Ian also plays guitar for Death In Vegas, and also Pad plays guitar for The Real Sound.

Releases:

Their debut album “My Thoughts Light Fires" was released on Monday 2nd February 2009. It features ten tracks, and was recorded by Ian in Vatican Studios and DCHQ in East London. It was mixed by the band in early 2008.

The single before the album, "Time To Kill", came out on Monday 27th October 2008. The A-side is an edit of a track from the album, while the B-side is a mix of "Just Chasing" by Tim Holmes of Death In Vegas. It was released on limited edition 7-inch vinyl.

On May 7th 2007 the band released their debut single, "Commodity"/"Freezer Burn" which was produced by Tim Holmes from Death In Vegas. It was also released on limited edition 7-inch vinyl.
