Originating from the industrial town of Scunthorpe, in North Lincolnshire. FULC formed their current line up in November 2000.
In March 2001 FULC booked into The Chapel Studios near Louth for 3 days. The result was a 3 track demo CD “Void” containing “Dolly”, ”Drawn Out” and “Losting”.
FULC relocated to Leeds in 2001 and Stunted Management was created to handle FULC’s affairs.
In July 2002 FULC booked into Sawmills Studios in Cornwall (Muse /Oasis /Supergras) to record “the fallen” EP - released September 2002 on Stunted Records.
FULC embarked on a 35 date tour from July to Sept. 2002 to promote the EP and interest started coming in from major labels and publishers. The 20 date winter leg of the tour ran from mid Oct. to Dec. 2002.
The band and their music received excellent reviews in 2002, the most impact being a live review in Kerrang ( Sept. 14th issue ) and a full page Kerrang feature in 26th Oct. issue for which the band did a full photoshoot.
2003 sees the release of FULCs debut album “Biting Insomnia” on June 23rd, produced by Mark Thomas (assistant engineer on all Muse releases) - with promotional tours set up to coincide with the release. The band has already played 50 dates in spring 2003, as pre-release warm-up.
