Hangedup are a post-rock group from Montreal, Canada. They are a two-piece band, featuring Genevieve Heistek (Sackville, Pest 5000) on Viola and Eric Craven (Shortwave, Sackville, now Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band) on drums and percussion. Their sound can be described as viola put into loops, with lots of percussion (sometimes using selfmade instruments).
