Bio
A Norwegian three piece fusing the electronica of Depeche Mode with the pop sensibilities of Aha and the rock posturing of Soulwax, Lorraine are:
Ole Gunnar Gundersen - vocals
Anders Winsents - guitar
Paal Myran Haaland - keyboards/programming
Shunning human rhythm sections in favour of things that keep a more accurate tempo*, Lorraine formed in the summer of 2000, naming themselves after Lorraine McFly from Back To The Future. After releasing their first EP in 2003 and their debut album The Perfect Cure a year later, both on the small label known as rec 90, they were snapped up by the bigwigs at Columbia.
*They are these days joined by a drummer at live shows. Cheats
