Dirty Three guitarist, whose instrumental solo project has spawned three Drag City-endorsed albums - Tren Phantasma (1997), Marlan Rosa (1999) and Moth (2002) - as well as a split CD-cum-singles compilation, Blue Trees (2007), which is shared with another of his projects, Tren Brothers, where he is joined by Dirty Three drummer Jim White.

Mr Turner is also a renowned artist, responsible for many of his and Dirty Three's album covers.
