The A Forest are Cat, Chris, Eilidh, Ewan, George and Michael who between them play bass, cello, drums, guitar, synth and voice. Kirsty used to play Cello.

We started to exist in the Spring of 2003 and started to make noises in front of people over at the end of the year (before Cat joined) and have continued to do this alongside bands like Mountain Men Anonymous, Motormark and James Apollo. We are based in Dundee but would like to see the world. Our debut single is a split 7" with Mercury Tilt Switch.

Some of us have been/are sort of in other bands, but this is unimportant.

The A Forest have been told they sound "twinkly" and "sleepy".
