They’re recently released second album, on the Kill Rock Stars label famous for the likes of Bikini Kill, Elliott Smith and Sleater-Kinney (Maggie Vail of Bangs is actually the sister of Tobi Vail of Bikini Kill) is a forceful slice or incredible, adrenalin-fuelled, female punk pop.

Bangs is a power pop/punk/rock'n'roll type of band. Idiots compare them to Sleater-Kinney based on a couple surface similarities, but they are more like a classic power trio. Their influences are something like: The Ramones, Cheap Trick, Fitz Of Depression, Bikini Kill, Runaways, Slade, Sweet, etc.
