Vermont formed in 1998. Through a variety of personnel changes, they have produced three EPs and two albums. First album In Kino, funded by a friend's redundancy cheque, came out in 2003. 2004 sees the release fo their second album, Ten Random, released on their own label, Tbilissi Recordings.

The band now split their time between London and Dresden, the respective hometowns of their two singers Colin Murphy and Sabine Zeissig. Their live band is based in Germany, but a system dubbed as "Chelsea-style squad rotation" can see anything up to ten people onstage at gigs. Chaos inevitably ensues...
