Cagedbaby

Disco Biscuit

Label: Southern Fried Release Date: 01/08/2005

TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly August 1st, 2005

Question: What do you get when you cross flower power parenthood, an uncanny knack for tickling the ebony and ivory and a background in fishmongery? Answer: This - glorious filth.

Cagedbaby, (a.k.a. Tom Gandey), makes the sort of music that keeps its shades on when the sun goes down, as it stalks brain-born boulevards lined with flashing neon lights and high-rent, low class hookers. Throbbing basslines are marched onwards by each unflinching, tight crack on the snare; and it’s all fused together by the irrefutable urge to deny this itch so long that it feels like heaven when you scratch it. As the song goes deeper, the tone lowers in exact parallel to the bass.

Super slinky (Daily) Star studded trash-pop. This is the modern disco, pointing paparazzi flashbulbs up unsuspecting skirts and writhing in a gloopy puddle of sleazy, glitterball smut. Outlaw Cagedbaby now, so he can get the attention he deserves.
