Music Social More…

Surely this is ridiculous? (Band fees/expenses-centric)

"Headline Act. The Wombats cost £18,000+VAT bringing the cost of the band for Graduation Ball to £20,700"

"Rider Expenses. Even though we’ve paid for The Wombats there are additional associated costs. Accommodation , food and drink, backline costs etc. £1,000"

So each student has to pay £55 to see TWO bands at their grad ball. I mean, we pay around £30 for our balls at York and usually get at least 4 acts for that, and although they're never amazing, it's hardly as though The fucking WOMBATS are worth this amount, is it?
