I tend to love the rockier albums for long journeys, and one I always end up putting on is Doolittle, it tends to lend itself quite well to being blasted down a country road at high speeds. Listening to the new MBV album with the windows down and as loud as possible was also pretty amazing. Especially driving through the fog covered mountains and under the starry night to 'Is This and Yes'. Chili's are pretty good roadtrip material too.
