So it turns out that Australia has this gigantic boner for this guy called Chet Baker. I have discovered that the Triple J top 100 (public voted song of the year) is a big deal here, apparently it's traditional for people to spend Australia Day listening to the entire fucking thing, who'd have thought it. Anyway, the guy got three entries into the top ten, which is apparently a big deal.

So I took a listen, and heard someone who sounds a bit like James Blake but with less restraint. Not as little as Jamie Lidell, but that's about it.

Anyone like this guy? Seems alright, but its huge popularity baffles me, it's not particularly commercial. One album and playing stadiums here, amazing.
