Although late 80's I just find it hard to beat the Cure's "Disintegration". Maybe Pixies "Doolittle" or Talking Heads "Remain in Light", Im also sure people across the pond will say Joy Division's "Closer", all great albums but I think "Disintegration" is leaps and bounds above. What an album.
