Hello, a new thread idea, taking a break from the 'sounds like' 'best albums of 20XX' or 'Rolling Rollin' Rollins' threads.

Thought it could be fun (and 'educational') to do a little community service and make a bit of a DiS primer on certain genres (insofar as genres actually exist). The idea is to provide us with a bunch of records that you feel are essential, transcendental out of this world out of your mind listens. Not that record from last year that you put in your end of year list because everyone else did and hey, it was kinda cool to be honest that one time you listened to it.

So yeah, let's start with drone because I'm looking for some classic records to listen to/buy after exhausting a lot of my stock these past few days. Try and keep any jagging to a minimum, obviously. And no fighting. This is a peaceful place.
