listened to The Pale Emperor again today after a few weeks break from obsessing. after the intro song, it definitely has a stunning brace of tracks. so good it made me think to start a thread.

Deep Six > Third Day of A Seven Day Binge > The Mephistopholes of Los Angeles

it might even run on for four because Warship My Wreck is great too, but four would be asking too much of most mortal albums.

I don't have any other examples or rules, except they have to be songs you're pretty much stunned by. you can't just 'quite like' them.
