For me, I lost touch with Yo La Tengo (who could do no wrong) after Summer Sun. I guess they'd been getting progressively quieter over the last couple of albums, and Electr-o-pura, ICHTHBAO and ATNTIIO felt like all the Yo La Tengo I needed. I didn't really reconnect with them until Fade ten years later, which was great.
