Changing running order thread #1,000,000

funkycow [Edit] [Delete] 12:29, 9 April '15

Yes, I know this is like heresy to most of you, but sometimes a play order is baffling. This hasn't happened to me for a long time, but The Black Ryder's latest is just a mess.

It opens with a semi-industrial instrumental which bears no resemblance to any of the rest of the album and then kills the momentum it has just started to build with the second track by having a mopey third. Finally, it sticks two string based tracks together to close the album over a whopping 18 minutes or so. I've fixed this as follows. It now opens more effectively, is better paced and a far more inviting listen. When have you done this, and why?

1. Seventh moon
2. Let me be your light
3. The going up was worth the coming down
4. Santaria
5. Throwing stones
6. Until the calm of dawn
7. All that we are
8. Le dernier sommeil (the final sleep)
