Prime example being The Wedding Present for me. All that jangly guitar, meat-head indie beats and then David Gedge's "vocals" - they were already hard to justify at the time (thinking of a mate of mine who was in hysterics watching them play "California" on Top Of The Pops), let alone now. I still listen to them but if anyone below the age of 35 walks in to the room I quickly switch them off out of shame...like the musical equivalent of being caught eating from a tin just dressed in your underpants.

...so are there any bands that you have fond nostalgic memories of that will be lost on the younger generation? Are there any DiSsers who have kids that don't get your music?
