We and our good friends at Patio Industries are stoked to bring you a double headliner for a summer evening.

Scene not Herd favourites WEM are finally releasing their first album and this show will feature songs old and new.

WEM are four men from the Medway estuary towns in Kent. Their music ranges from the brutal to the beautiful. The sound palate is dark and uncompromising: at times a pounding dirge, at others ambient, spacious and meditative. It highjacks elements of blues, krautrock and noise.

WEM are an overpowering live act, with a new set of songs about death and open water. Listen to WEM if you like Nick Cave, Swans and Einstuerzende Neubauten.

Victory Kicks started life in early 2013 as a home recording project for songwriter and guitarist John Sibley. After a series of singles and EPs, Victory Kicks went from solo project to band with the addition of friends from other London based acts and established its own record label with the release of its first official EP, Rockets for Ghosts in July 2013. Hot on the heels came the first full length album The Decibel Age and two EPs of lo-fi indie rock n roll, Emergency Noise and The Young Flood.

While John has been playing solo shows, this gig is the first time the band has played live and will feature favourite songs from across the four previous records.

We'll be spinning the hits before, between and after the acts.
