I mean like us rockists eventually do when we realise most new stuff is something we already heard years ago? And so we end up listening to weird jazz or extreme noise or buying a complete Steve Reich back catalogue and working our way through it...

Inspired by that new Carly Rae Jepsen song which is certainly catchy, etc. but at the same time is completely uninteresting.

(That said, heard Gangnam Style twice at the weekend and it's still pretty amazing.)
