any love for Self Defense Family (formerly End of a Year)? They've quietly been plugging away for the last few years at being one of the best post-hardcore bands around for the last couple years, and with their new record they actually be in with a shout. They use a lot of hypnotic repetition but also find a lot of beauty and inventive riffs, plus Patrick Kindlon (also of Drug Church) is a very witty and fun vocalist.
