'Cos sometimes I just don't get why they are hated.

1. Haddaway - What is Love - I don't get why this is ridiculed in certain circles as unforgivable cheese on the level of the Cheeky Girls. It's the ultimate pop song, not a note wasted, there's not an ounce of fat on it.

2. JJ72 - First album was a blinder and what a voice. They could have been the new Joy Division or Depeche Mode if they'd maintained their commercial success.

3. Texas. They were a bit MOR but I don't get what they did so wrong. Future Islands could never write a song as good as Summer Son. Alt-J could never achieve the highs of Black Eyed Boy and When We Are Together. If to prove their influential status, Creep by TLC completely ripped off Once In a Lifetime... ahem ;)
