SUMAC/Mamiffer/JK Flesh/Janne Westerlund

ThierryEnnui [Edit] [Delete] 09:48, 8 July '16

Anyone go? Christ that was good. Mamiffer were the pick of the bunch for me, there were some really hypnotic passages and genuinely jaw-dropping peaks that were built up.
JK Flesh was really fun. Like the soundtrack to some early 00s alternagoth movie where a bunch of vampires in sunglasses party in a strobe-lit warehouse. This is obviously a huge compliment.
SUMAC was one of the heaviest sets I've seen. It took me a while to warm to the record but seeing it live, it all made a lot more sense. That drummer is unbelievable too.
I missed basically all of Janne Westerlund because I was eating instead. What I heard was fine, not really my thing, he seemed like a nice, weird guy though.
