Are they? Aren't they? Does anyone care since Pinkerton was so long ago? Does anyone actually enjoy dancing to 'Buddy Holly', or do they do so simply out of respect for the band's former glories? Who, really, gives a stuff if Weezer stay together?
The kids? Maybe. The band, too, seem keen to put to bed the rumours suggesting that they're done for. The band has posted a statement on their website that reads as follows:
"Now please, take those 'Weezer split?' headlines and place them firmly into the 'Don't believe the hype' bin. And have yourself a fine afternoon now."
But, but, but... didn't Rivers say that the band was done? No plans have been made, to tour or record. I, for one, am a confused young man. The only way to cure this distress is with lunch. Coming?
