Quinn's injury is the latest in a succession of gig-related mishaps for Snow Patrol: they had to cancel a series of European dates in 2006 when bassist Paul Wilson knackered himself, and a number of US dates were cancelled when singer Gary Lightbody lost the power to sing. Pretty essential skill, that.
