Further into the Future-heads: spring tour, single news
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly January 17th, 2008

The Futureheads will follow-up this set of current tour dates with more shows, beginning next month and continuing into spring.

The quartet will take their taut guitar-trapeze 'round the regions again at the venues listed below:

February
23 Northampton Soundhaus
25 Exeter Phoenix
27 Tamworth Palace

March
01 Barrow-in-Furness The Canteen
02 Edinburgh Liquid Room
03 Newcastle Northumbria Uni 2
05 Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms
06 Oxford Academy
07 Stoke Sugarmill

Just as on the last tour, England’s capital remains conspicuous by its absence. Tickets for the dates listed above can be got at – if you’re a Futureheads mailing list member – from 11am today, (17 Jan) here. If you’re keen, click here and follow on-screen instructions to subscribe to band-based bulletins. If you think you’ve the mettle to wait it out, the tickets go on general sale from 9am tomorrow (18 Jan) from all the usual places.

The band will release new single 'The Beginning Of The Twist’ - the first single plucked from their forthcoming third album – on the 10th of March through Nul Records. You’ll be able to download a live version of that single from every night of the tour – the hows and whens of that will be revealed in the coming weeks.
