Tomorrow: Drowned in Sound live, twice
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly January 25th, 2008

Drowned in Sound’s indulging in sheer amounts of live show harlotry this week, and we’re not stopping ‘til we’ve rubbed you red raw; you fucks.

Or something. The point is last night saw Wild Beasts, It Hugs Back, Banjo or Freakout and School of Language descend upon the Monto Water Rats in Kings Cross for the second night of our four-fingered bust, pulling in all sorts and delighting. Wild Beasts, in particular, gave up a set of incredible promise, just what you’d expect from a self-confessed ‘tips show’, I suppose; while the air grew heavy with warm chatter and one Alex Kapranos set about working the room with his Domino cohorts. He joined them onstage! He didn't join them onstage.

Anyway, we’re sticking our heads out of the parapet to tell you about tomorrow, it being the day of a brace of Drowned in Sound live shows, details of which are below. Come, yeah? We've got all sorts and sods.
