Brad Arnold, singer with popular-in-the-States rockers 3 Doors Down, was injured in a car accident on February 1st.
The singer, in the middle of promotional work for his band's third album Seventeen Days, was in the passenger seat of the vehicle concerned when it met with misfortune on a rain-soaked Mississippi road. No other vehicle was involved and Arnold's wife, Terika, was not injured in the accident. She was driving at the time.
Arnold needed around 40 stitches, and his ear had to be sewn back into place, said bandmate Todd Harrell through the group's website.
Although they're hardly a public eye highlight over here, 3 Doors Down have achieved three number one singles Stateside.
