Alleged novelist and successful rapper Snoop Dogg (Calvin Broadus to his mum) was arrested at Heathrow Airport last night, following a little rough and tumble down Terminal 1.
Seven police officers were injured, one fracturing a hand, in a fracas that broke out around 6pm yesterday. Some 30 individuals were involved, with anger boiling over when the rapper's entourage was prevented from boarding a plane to South Africa.
Snoop and five others were arrested and held on suspicion of violent disorder and affray.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard commented:
"Police were called at 6pm last night to reports of a disturbance involving 30 people in a business lounge at Terminal 1.
"The party was told that they would not be permitted to board their flight and officers then attempted to direct the group to baggage reclaim.
"A number of the group became abusive and pushed officers."
