Late-90s hardcore heavyweights Drowningman have called time on their hiatus. Well, on their split to be precise. After an unsuccessful stint as The Scheme, Simon Brody and Denny Donovan have buried their differences and reactivated the dormant hardcore machine that is Drowningman.
My word, I'm all hot and bothered...
Anyway, a compilation of demo material is set to emerge through NYC indie Law Of Inertia Records entitled 'Learn To Let Go', and shows are being arranged as I type. Will they make it to the UK? Let's hope so! Brody's mail out to fans old and new goes something like this:
"The insanity of the past several years is gone and we're eager to approach this with clearer heads and something to prove.
"This is not something we would even consider doing if we thought the results would be less than spectacular. A website will be launched in the coming weeks, at which point you'll be introduced to the new guys in the band. We're working on some nextt level type shit, If you want to hear us rehash our 'metal emo' past, it won't happen...
...Drowningman is back."
