N.E.R.D. - NO_ONE EVER REALLY DIES

Review by Matthew Neale

Regardless of whether anyone needed to hear this record, certainly no one needed to make it»

First album in 10 years. Entitled No_One Ever Really Dies, the 11-track album includes collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, André 3000, M.I.A., Future, Gucci Mane, and Ed Sheeran. The album is a frantic, jagged ride with songs shape shifting wildly. Containing lyrics about police, brutality, xenophobia and technology, it's a dark and disjointed listen to match the world we live in - but it always retains that uniquely NERD sense of groove.
