Sterling Roswell

Girl From Orbit

Label: Jungle Records Release Date: 19/08/2002

rubbafish by Colin Weston August 12th, 2002

Before I go any further I would like to state that previous to this single, I had never even heard of Rosco and although I had heard of the Spaceman 3, I was never a massive fan. Now, with that cleared up...

Roscos' latest incarnation is as Sterling Roswell and if this debut single is an indication of what his forthcoming album, 'Psychadelic Ubik', is like then I await the outcome with bated breath! Coming on with a vocal style very similar to Luke Haines and a musical soundscape of organs and gently strummed guitars and slightly distorted space-like sound effects, this is a real chill out track for the indie generation!
