Having played with the likes of Guillemots and Neils Children, and been played extensively on XFM, Popular Workshop's brand of instantly catchy yet deep music has won them many a fan. Their live performances have even been described as 'akin to watching a full-scale riot break loose.' Not to be missed, then. Joining them for this very special PowPowPow.com Party will be Suzerain, Junkplanet and Telegraphs. Suzerain's uniquely fleshy brand of indie rock is sure to get the crowd dancing. They fall somewhere between Bowie and Nine Inch Nails on the musical map. The elusive Junkplanet are a different entity altogether - described by Drowned in Sound as 'a digital spit in the eye of pedestrian snooze rock', their quick-paced electro madness. Catch them while you can! Completing this rather scorching bill is Brighton-based Telegraphs. Crafting gorgeously heartfelt choruses underlined by a unique delicacy, this new band have already soldout shows in London and are surely 'ones to watch'. So, join us then for a celebration of great music. It will be great fun.
Doors open at 7.30, and the night will be ending at around 11. It's sure to be a great evening!
