The Jesus And Mary Chain are set to play their first Scottish gig in years.

The band, who split in 1998 and reformed earlier this year, will play Connect, which will take place on the weekend of August 31 and September 2 on the banks of Loch Fyne, Inveraray in Argyll.

The festival will also feature The Beastie Boys, Primal Scream and Bjork.

The line up is:

The Only Ones

LCD Soundsystem
Tilly And The Wall

Tickets will go onsale on Friday (March 23) at 9am.

I'm guessing this will be similar to Electric Picnic as its the same weekend. I bloody hope so anyway.
