That picture is pretty bad quality but the festival was quite a lot of fun.

I think it was the first Leeds Festival.
RHCP had just released Californication and were on their comeback tour, the Offspring were riding high on the Pretty Fly chart smash.

I went with my brother and I think looking back through rose tinted glasses it was the best time I had at any Leeds festival. I was too young to care about any of the par-taaaay / burn shit bullshit that taints my other festival memories.
