Smaller Bands That Should Be Given The Chance To Headline

Willsjamie [Edit] [Delete] 01:01, 12 November '10

Sorry if this has already been talked about , but always good to see a less well-known band given the chance to headline and they knock it out of the park. Best examples I can think of in recent years are Arcade Fire at this year's Reading/Leeds and Kings of Leon at Glastonbury 08 (I know no-one here liked them even then, but oh well)

So who should be given their shot in 2011? My personal preferences would be Yeah Yeah Yeahs (I know it's unlikely, but I think it could work), Phoenix (Would have to be in America) or The National

Oh and whilst we're here please recommend me other great new headliners past
