Whats a proper band?

Bundoz [Edit] [Delete] 12:29, 2 April '07

When you go to see your favourite bands live, do you expect to hear a perfect, note for note, reproduction of the artist in question' latest cd that you have enjoyed listening to through the speakers of your stereo or ipod? Or are you alarmed when you attend a gig by the band you adore and they present you with a raw, stripped down interpretation of those nice shiny studio workouts so near & dear to your beating heart? Or, maybe, they do sound exactly like the cd you own but theres only 3 people in the band and its terribly distressing for you to discover that the 'fab trio' cant 'cut it' live without the aid of a few session men and women? Do you feel cheated by any of this? or, does none of the above bother you when it comes to enjoying music? if your answer to the last question is no, do you not think, maybe, you are part of the problem? some of the people who'd potentially answer yes seem to think you are?! After all, surely there must be a right and wrong way to do things.....yes?
