I have sen them a few trimes before and they always seemd to chew up all the subtleties, like frinstance the tunes, of thier songs, in their attpemt to play the world longest jammiest solo ever.

But
last night I thought they became the stars that their status always implied but never quite delivered onstage.

Absolutely blistering stuff. Led Zep and Jimi tastic it was too. Shame the crowd were a bunch of stuffy Salarymen.

The Rednad white matting out on the screens just made it even more iconic.

Their sound weas loud and clear and perfect. I guess they found the last two notches on the PA's volume control.

new songs and old songs all were equally briliantly delivered and, and this is the science bit, equally well received.

Goddam.
I did not want it to end.
