When my neice was 15 I bought her a guitar. I shoved cool hard rock her way (eg ToD, Icarus Line) cos she likes Nirvana. I tried giving her a taste of the eclectic. I've tried everything....

And yet after several years of loving care and cultivation... I found a Tool album on my computer. It wasn't there yesterday. Maybe some of you like Tool and that's OK...YOU'RE NOT MY NEICE!

I want to cane her for her crime. I want to lock her in a closet. But I can't. I only believe in corporal punishment for other people's kids.

I'm sorry; I needed to vent. "Why can't you just smoke pot like the other kids!" I want to scream. But it really comes down to me. I have failed. :(
