Remember in school you played the Telephone Game? It was where you whispered a short story to your neighbor and so on down the line and the last person re-tells an almost virtually completely different story?

Maybe you guys in Britain didn't have that sort of fun American 7 year olds do. Adults have a similar game television likes to call soap operas. But I digress.

In this "Sounds Kinda Like" game we are going to see if we can get from Belle and Sebastion to Comets on Fire. Except that that's too obvious, twee to thrash-noise. Besides, that'd take over a hundred posts and I'm not that optimistic about this thread.

I'm gonna pick a band and we'll just see where we go, eh?
