to anyone who cares: i'm putting on some gigs this summer, and it'd be great to see some/all of you there. i'm really excited! but yes, here are the powpowpow gigs planned for august/september/october [ok, autumn and summer]:

1. 4th August: all-dayer @ The Windmill, Brixton. A day of pop/free-folk/electronica/noise/general good stuff. Bands confirmed so far: Action Beat, I Had An Inkling, Agaskodo Teliverek, Romvelope, Man Aubergine, Cleckhuddersfax, The Dead Rat Orchestra, Naziexperimentincolour, Gossamer Albatross + a few more TBC.

2. 15th August: David Thomas Broughton + Jonquil + one more TBC @ 93 Feet East, Brick Lane.

3. 12th September: line-up TBA @ 93 Feet East.

4. 30th October: My birthday celebrations @ The Good Ship, Kilburn, featuring Rolo Tomassi + Team Brick + one more TBC.

Plus we should be doing something on 2nd August, but that's all unconfirmed. Tickets all on sale soon, along with DiS listings and all that jazz. More info etc as I get it will be posted at www.powpowpow.com
