the bird and the bee and wrong words in songs

ImageChange [Edit] [Delete] 21:11, 10 July '07

i was on holiday when this came out so i dont know if it was discussed.

firstly, i think it's very good. And listening to this more than makes up for the rilo kiley single being rubbish.

secondly, the song 'Because' appears to have the lyric: "I'm lying prostate (sic) on the ground". Now is that dodgy pronunciation? (I'm not sure i'd accept that as an excuse) Or are they actually getting their own lyrics wrong? (Pretty poor show)

Or are the lyrics right but using the wrong word? Or maybe I'm missing some kind of deep symbolic meaning to lying on the ground like prostate...

I'd love it if anyone could untangle the philosophical implications of the second point. Or point out that this is not an isolated case.

kthxpls.
