Specific guitar brands on records

oceanRain [Edit] [Delete] 19:57, 13 July '07

My buddy is convinced he can tell the difference between guitar brands by sound. I am skeptical, as my ear isn't that good, plus after running it through all the fuzz boxes, delay boxes and so on... telling the difference between a Les Paul and a Strat would be impossibly difficult.

Yeah, I know a Strat is "lighter" than a Gibson and all... but ...well, we have a small wager.

So what I need is the name of the guitar(s) used on an album. So we can test his theory, versus my theory (that an electric guitar is an electric guitar).
