In fact, I tend to love "cocaine" albums in the strict sense. The more mentally and physically fucked up an artist is the better his work comes out. Sad, but true.

No. What I'm talking about are albums where the band were ultra ace in the production. Or bands that spent forever and a day in the recording studio. Fleetwood Mac's Rumours comes to mind. Or maybe Garbage's s/t.
