seems kinda flawed.

He's touting the newest signing to his record label (Fair To Midland) as a progressive rock band. But, regardless of pointless genre definitions, how you would choose to define the term and whether or not you would, I can't really find a SHRED of 'progressiveness' in their music.

I'd go as far as saying that it sounds like the lead singer of Gene joined Linkin Park and held on to those bands' worst aspects.
