If you're a garage rock band it's probably not that hard to be pretty good but near impossible to score that perfect 10/10 record.

Conversely, a more adventurous band - while a perfect album is more likely in one sense they're probably far more likely to fall flat on their collective faces. Not to mention your chances of rising above obscurity slim, slim - and you'd be lucky to have lyle post your myspace link on this here board. But no guts no glory, eh?
